I’m delighted to be able to report that construction work has started for Eider Developments Limited on the two  stunning modern homes at South Holmwood in the Surrey Hills that received full planning permission earlier this year without any objections being registered.

They are being built by contractor Hackett and James and the professional team include Structural Engineers Broughton Beatty, M & E Engineers Silcock Dawson and QS John Rowan and Partners.London architects 4D Studio worked at the designe stage with their sister company London architects Stefan Zins Associates

The planning officers required a design of the highest architectural quality as did the influential Surrey Hills Design Panel who felt that planning permission could only be granted for house designs of the highest architectural quality and sustainability.

The dwellings are different in appearance yet similar in style and  they can be seen illustrated in the architectural projects page of this web site
