Coxbridge Business Park

The first three images in this item are of the Coxbridge Enterprise Centre, Farnham that was designed by the team at 4D Studio Architects and is a winner of the Waverley Design Award. It is the first building to be built on the Business Park that was also designed and master planned by 4D Studio. The site was a former mineral working site and is within the AGLV. It is of ecological importance, and there is a management and landscape strategy in place that was prepared with Armstrong Bell, Landscape Architects.

Aimed at small businesses, the objective of the centre was to provide an innovative and attractive facility that would be affordable and serve as an easy entry for starter companies. The design solution for the building offers 23,500 sq. ft of floor space, with workspace units on the ground floor and serviced offices on the first floor.

Given its prominent location at the main approach to the park, the building has been designed to offer a distinguished entrance that evokes the sense of a modern, good quality environment. Importantly, this sets the standard for the building design quality of future development phases. Sustainability was an important consideration in the design of the building and elements such as high efficiency boilers, reflective solar shading, porous paving to the car park area and maintained natural flora to the banks surrounding the site were employed.

This too has been designed to offer a distinguished building of high architectural quality  that continues the standard set by the Enterprise Centre
